The whole range of Alpego Rotary Cultivators features the patented “CENTRAL DRIVE GEAR BOX” made of solid GEARS (no belts, no chains!)

The innovation and uniqueness of the Alpego Rotary Cultivator concept consists on the central transmission that drives the spinning torque from the PTO to the two half rotors through solid gears. This guarantees maximum reliability and less torque dispersion.
Another advantage is the absence of the lateral transmission and therefore a reduction of the overall width.

The transmission gearbox is made according to internal Alpego specifications.

It consists of a speed gear change, which makes it possible to change the rotation speed and of a series of gears transmitting the motion to the rotor.

The vertically arranged gears made of cast iron work constantly in contact with the moving soil, which allows a natural heat dispersion.

Moreover, the working of the gears, always immersed in an oil bath, guarantees their optimum lubrication and cooling.

Horizontal Rotor featuring twisted straight blades.

The special blades work tip first to guarantee optimum result also in extremely tough soils.

Thanks to the PARALLELOGRAM system of depth adjustment , the rear roller constantly maintains the same degree of inclination.

The leveling bar of the ALPEGO power harrows is directly attached to the rear roller.
This makes it possible to maintain a constant height from the ground, thereby improving the leveling quality and reducing the power absorbed by the power harrow.

Convex “S” shape with new shock-absorbing systems with four elastic arms for an ideal flow of the soil and its best crumbling. The central crank makes its adjustment easy.

Cage Roller

The CAGE roller is suitable for dry soils of medium density.
With the extra kits (available only for the G5 series) it is possible to add some pipes to the cage, thereby increasing the supporting surface.
The structure of the cage does not make it suitable to support very heavy loads, such as the combined implements.

Spiral roller

The SPIRAL roller creates a soft and uniform seeding surface and is suitable for medium and light soils.
It can’t be used in the combinations with the seed drill

Spike Roller

The SPIKE roller is very versatile, it works well even when the soil is damp and compacted.
It can be used in the combinations with the seed drill

Packer Roller

The PACKER roller has a tubular structure with a large diameter: this makes it very sturdy and particularly suited for the combinations with seed drills. Several rows of tines guarantee the traction on the ground and a series of adjustable brushes keeps each of them clean. The result is a compact surface, perfect for sowing.

Trapeze Roller

The notched cast-iron roller ridges are spaced 12.5 cm or 15 cm depending on row spacing.With its diameter of 505 mm it combines a perfect rotation and a pressing of the seeding line.Designed for the combination can also work alone.It adapts perfectly to all types of dry or wet soil even in the presence of stones or crop residues.
