This becomes Alpego’s new official headquarters with all offices including top management, administration, technical, IT, purchasing, sales and training.
A building of over 12,000 sqm also houses machine assembly, the parts warehouse, quality control, the prototype area, the painting plant and the loading and dispatching area.
Purchase of a new automatic vertical warehouse with over 35,000 articles available at once for picking, packaging and shipment to guarantee our customers immediate support.
Purchase of a new, state-of-the-art painting plant, the only one of its kind in Europe, to guarantee higher product quality and greater speed and dynamism in assembly lines through the use of ground-breaking technologies which protect the environment.
The plant occupies a large area at the Almisano site and comprises:
A cartesian handling system for the maximum flexibility and optimisation of the various painting cycles;
A shot blaster for optimal preparation of the surface for painting;
A series of washing, degreasing and pretreatment tunnels to further improve bonding quality;
Liquid painting;
Powder painting;
Three independent ovens;
All controlled by software for constant monitoring of every phase.
Restructuring, expansion and upgrading of the Gambellara production location with two new high-tech automatic laser cutting systems, a new bending press, an automatic robot for precision welding, new material handling robots and a fume extraction and ventilation system.
All intended to increase quality and productivity.
The location employs more than 40 people.

The international markets are growing and Alpego decides to invest in a new strategic subsidiary in the United Kingdom, to serve these markets more effectively.
Alpego has now reached its third generation with Nicola, Luca and Filippo, the sons of Luciano and Giovanni, who now work alongside the founders in running the family business.
Alpego machines are sold in over 40 countries worldwide through exclusive dealers, importers and partners.
Sales have exceeded the 30,000,000 Euro mark (35% Italy – 65% international).
The company now employs more than 150 people with an average age of about 35, in Italy, France and the United Kingdom
